Ingredients
- 60ml Brockmans Gin
- 1 dash Cardamom Extract
- 30ml Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 30ml Homemade Blueberry Jam
- 7ml Lemongrass Syrup
- 7ml Juiced Ginger
- 4 units Mint Picks
- 30ml Mediterranean Tonic Water
Method
- Prepare Lemongrass Syrup by simmering a 1:1 ratio of sugar and water and 2 sliced lemongrass cores for 10 minutes. Cool content and strain into jar
- Prepare Homemade Blueberry Jam by mixing 4 cups of fresh blueberries, 1 cup of white sugar, a tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice and a pinch of ground cinnamon into a saucepan constantly stirring it as it simmers over medium heat until thickened
- Chill an Antique Collins Glass
- Add Brockmans Gin, 4 mint leaves, Scrappy’s Cardamom Bitters, homemade blueberry jam and lemongrass syrup into a shaking tin
- Juice a small portion of a ginger root and add to tin
- Cut organically grown lemon in half and squeeze juice into tin
- Close tin and shake until properly diluted
- Empty chilled glass and double strain concoction into it. Top off with Mediterranean tonic water and crushed ice
