The Production Process

Copper Pot Still

A copper pot still is responsible for the production of all our gin, imparting a unique and invaluable influence on the character of our liquids.

The production process of Brockmans Gin starts with combining all botanicals including blueberries and blackberries with a blend of neutral grain spirit and water in the still.

Botanicals

This mixture undergoes a 14-hour maceration period, allowing the botanicals to blend and infuse their richly perfumed flavours into the liquid.

Subsequently, the still is gently heated, and the recipe undergoes a meticulous nine-hour distillation process, resulting in a highly concentrated liquid with an alcohol content of approximately 80%.

Post-distillation, the gin is rested and then methodically diluted to its final strength of 40%. Our specialized dilution technique ensures a smooth and well-balanced spirit.
