Brockmans is now a B Corp
We’re delighted to announce that Brockmans Gin has earned B Corporation certification. This achievement underscores our steadfast dedication to sustainability and social responsibility, principles deeply embedded in the Brockmans ethos since we started the company in 2006.
These values form the bedrock of the Brockmans Properly Improper philosophy, influencing every aspect of our brand, making us pioneers in the spirits world. We recognise our duty to shape a brighter future, not only for the next generation but also for our team, suppliers, customers, shareholders, and the wider community as well.
Our commitment to ethical stewardship isn’t merely a vision for the future; it’s ingrained in the very roots of Brockmans. Growing up on a family farm in the Cambridgeshire countryside, Neil learned the crucial lessons of community, shared responsibility, and the significance of sustainable practices—the ‘Proper’ way of doing things.
Obtaining B Corp certification symbolises the ongoing sustainability journey Brockmans embarked upon years ago. The rigorous certification process obliges us to refine our operations to consistently meet the highest standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability.

Certified B Corporations, or B Corps, are companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. To become a certified B Corp, a company must undergo a comprehensive assessment by the non-profit organization B Lab. This rigorous assessment evaluates a company’s impact on its workers, customers, community, and environment; meeting this criteria the company can receive a B Corp Certification.
